Experience
the Enchantment at Clark’s Elioak Farm”
during our weekend birthday celebration on
Saturday and Sunday, August 12-13, 2006,
10 AM to 4 PM both days. The farm is just
a few miles away from The Enchanted
Forest, at 10500 Route 108, Ellicott City,
MD 21042.
We are
delighted to introduce our two newest
attractions: the newly-renovated and
restored Old Woman’s Shoe and The Three
Bears’ House. They were both moved to the
farm this winter by Expert House Movers
and Ex-cel Tree Experts and we have been
getting them ready ever since.
Come slide
down the slide in the Old Woman’s Shoe and
be greeted in the Three Bear’s House by
Papa Bear smoking his pipe.
There will
be something for everybody. Meet
Cinderella, Sleeping Beauty, Little Red
Riding Hood, and Alice in Wonderland.
Visit your favorite petting farm animals,
ride a pony, and take a hayride. Listen to
fairy tales and get your face painted by
Laura Renee Davis of Nouveau Face
Painting.
Enjoy CJ’s
Country Catering tasty pit beef and other
treats. See vintage Enchanted Forest
photos and a DVD of the Enchanted Forest
on view. Own a “Piece of the Park” by
purchasing either a one-of-a-kind stone
from the wall around Cinderella’s Castle
painted by our resident Enchanted Forest
artist, Monica McNew-Metzger, or a shard
from “Willie the Whale” framed in a wooden
box with a picture of “Willie” on the top.
Visit the
other magical Enchanted Forest treasures
at the farm, too! See the Crooked House
and the Crooked Man, The lil Red
Schoolhouse, the Easter Bunny’s House,
Mother Goose, the Giant and the Beanstalk,
Cinderella’s Pumpkin Coach and Mice,
Sleeping Beauty, Snow White, Robin Hood,
the Three Pigs’ straw, stick and brick
houses, and the Rainbow Slide.
We have
replicas of several vintage Enchanted
Forest publications, including a
children’s book and a coloring book.
Postcard and brochures, too. Original
artwork by local artists, Charlene Clark
and Judith Fulmer, of your favorite scenes
from the Enchanted Forest will also be
available for sale.
