The Alice in Wonderland Teacup Ride

Alice in Wonderland’s zany Teacup Ride takes you deep into her subterranean world where you see the Mad Hatter’s Tea Party with the March Hare and the Door Mouse and other fascinating adventures in the Court of the Queen of Hearts. One of the most endearing fantasies is recreated in the Enchanted Forest’s own Wonderland setting.

Enter this fabulous world with a ride in a giant teacup or on a bench-seat, pulled along a track by a huge teakettle. The musty smell of this ride is something everyone will always remember.

First, you’ll see how Alice herself got into the Wonderland as she falls down the famous rabbit hole. This same figure can also be seen from the top, from outside the ride and above ground, through the memorable tree stump.

Then there’s the lovely flower garden whose door is too tiny for Alice to enter.

You meet Alice as she sits in a stalactite filled cave and cries and cries, so much so that her tears overflow and become a lake.

You’ll see the middle of the strange rabbit’s house, and on the lawn outside the Mad Hatter’s party is going on its crazy way.

Finally, in a magnificent courtroom, Alice is on trial before the strangest Queen you’ve ever known, and the court guards are playing cards come to life.

The Tea Cup Ride did not re-open in 1994 because it did not meet current safety codes.

The whereabouts of Alice and Company are unknown. The teapot is at Clark’s Elioak Farm waiting to be restored. Three tea cups, one red, one yellow, and one blue are safe and restored at Clark’s Elioak Farm.
